    My town does that too. The speed bumps are just bolted down and they remove the speed bumps during the winter months so a plow can come by.

    We also have season speed bumps here in Maine.

    (We sometimes call them “tourists,” “Massholes,” “flatlanders,” and “sonsabitches from Away.”)

    heavy snow area. they did this in Alaska, too. bolt down steel speed bumps during the summer.
