    when my puppy had to be put down we brought a little jar of peanut butter (his favorite) and let him eat directly out of it (which he was never allowed to do). He just wagged his tail and licked peanut butter until he went away

    Had to put my puppy down two years ago, still broken hearted over it. You never expect how it will affect you.
    I recently started volunteering at the RSPCA, just to play with animals again.

    I stayed. I promised myself I would not cry… and I didn’t, till he stopped breathing. My brother had to walk me out.

    My dad is a Vet and he says, by far, this is the toughest part of the job. All the school and everything else you have to go through doesn’t prepare you for this.
