Long story short, painting the rear fender and the gas tank cover.
Please view images full size and comment on them.
Yes, I know the gas tank cover looks like CRAP primed, but I put about 3 layers to help soak in the cracks, and plan to do about 2-3 layers of the paint.
Finish it off with clear coat and it really helps it not show.
First time stripping/painting plastic, give me a break.
Might re-do the entire gas tank cover.
Paint is about $6 a can, will cover 4 square feet per can (the green metallic)
Also, today some kids literally down the street flagged me down.
They really wanted the chopper.
I told them I paid $200 and they offered $150 but I said I JUST got it and I am going to fix it up and sell it (starting with the paint, obviously)
It’s pretty much BRAND new after I took some 0000 steel wool to the chrome frame, tire shine to the tires, and now painting the plastic parts.
I wonder how much I can get for it?
Also they wanted to trade me a $700 specialized rock hopper for my liquimatic sport roller (go ped without a motor – has everything except the motor)
They were REALLY eager to trade me for the go ped for some reason.
I think I will do it.
I will keep M[C]S updated.

you know, most people use sandpaper before painting so that their paint job doesnt look like shit
August 12, 2010 at 6:28 pm
This is the first time I’ve ever painted plastic.
I am going to re-do the gas tank cover, but the fender looks alright.
August 14, 2010 at 4:43 pm
I hope the paint eats the plastic, and the reaction sparks the gas.
August 14, 2010 at 4:57 pm
As an internet troll you lack the intelligence to look up how to paint such stuff? How hard can ya fail
August 15, 2010 at 3:02 am
I looked and none of the tutorials really helped. hur dur
August 14, 2010 at 5:48 pm
Is this the first time u painted yourself too
August 11, 2010 at 12:06 pm
At first I thought your mini-bike way stupid and faggy, but now that you’ve painted the tank cover green, I realize that it is awesome and cool. You should ride it to your nearest biker bar, tell them how your bike is better than theirs and they will think you are an awesome and cool guy. But don’t wear a helmet; helmets are for fags.
August 15, 2010 at 3:02 am
I don’t need to tell anyone how awesome it is because you can just look at it and tell.
August 14, 2010 at 4:43 pm
“I will keep M[C]S updated.”
Please, don’t
August 15, 2010 at 3:04 am
Too late.
August 14, 2010 at 4:49 pm
this is unacceptable
August 15, 2010 at 3:05 am
Why?
August 14, 2010 at 5:04 pm
The cutting on the rear fender looks like it was done by a retarded chimpanzee using safety scissors while having a seizure. I’m sure it was “like that when I bought it” but if you’re going to go to the trouble of painting that POS, you could at least make the cuts look semi-decent.
August 15, 2010 at 3:08 am
When I got it, it had the bar on the back.
Imagine a square rectangle shaped light fitting in there.
The guy had apparently hit it with something (and I’ve done that a few times just on the 2 rides I’ve taken) and it fucked the fender up.
It literally just snapped off when I applied the brake cleaner (great for removing paint)
I’m going to put a metal bar to replace it, though.
I’ve already ordered some rear blinkers.
I think I will just make 2-3 rows of red LED’s for the tail light in a custom plastic box for the tail light.

Why don’t you just get a real motorcycle?
August 15, 2010 at 3:10 am
Because this is for fun, just like my go peds or ATV’s.
You can’t ride them everywhere, or all the time, but it’s something fun to do in my free time.

looks like crap. SAND it until it is FLAT first, then make it SMOOTH. so- get out the 180 grit and make it flat- then sand to 400-600. prime. sand with 1000. paint. buy a tack rag.
August 14, 2010 at 7:56 pm
What, do actual work? CM is too fucking lazy.
August 15, 2010 at 8:50 am
pff I bet I do more work at my job in a month than you do in a month
August 15, 2010 at 1:41 pm
nutsack face, you don’t even know what I do. I guess you sucking cock for cash is pretty hard work, though.
August 15, 2010 at 3:11 am
OK I’ll try that on the gas tank cover.
Like I said, this is my FIRST time. So of coarse it’s going to be shitty.
I did a semi- decent job on the fender
I removed all the paint, sanded, semi-smoothed it out and primed then painted.
It looks basically perfect now (pics coming soon)
August 15, 2010 at 8:09 am
Remember everyone, it’s his FIRST TIME. And neither the bike nor the paint cans were gentle to his poor anus or mouth.

This is about 20 pounds of faggotry in a 10 pound bag. I’m just saying…
August 15, 2010 at 3:12 am
That doesn’t make sense.
I’m just saying…
August 14, 2010 at 8:43 pm
Stop using M[c]S as your failblog.
August 15, 2010 at 3:13 am
It’s the only way I can guarantee it gets views and comments.
Don’t tell me what to do.
August 14, 2010 at 11:22 pm
The pity I feel for you deepens with each successive post.
August 15, 2010 at 3:14 am
If you have pity for me for spending my hard earned money on a hobby, than your an odd person.
August 15, 2010 at 2:28 am
I don’t know. I’m all for less pics of him trying on poor fitting clothes in department store dressing rooms, and if that means more pics of home-made mods to vehicles and bikes and even computer cases, at least that’s what he named himself for.
August 15, 2010 at 3:18 am
Post more pictures of me and my clothes – noted.
August 15, 2010 at 2:35 am
C’mon, Tiki, we don’t care about this idiot’s inane shit….
August 15, 2010 at 3:16 am
Speak for yourself. – No, scratch that.
Look at all the comments.
If nobody cared – nobody would comment.
Simple as that.
Remember that haters love to hate the best, so, the more hateful comments I get about me or the stuff I have means they are that much more jealous.
August 15, 2010 at 9:36 am
Look at the content of the comments. You can’t be that thick-…wait, yes you can. And that’s damn tragic.
August 25, 2010 at 2:42 pm
Toooooo baaaaad
August 15, 2010 at 5:18 am
Ladies and gentlemen, here you have it: 12 comments in a row, about his own post. I think old Case has finally become the legendary Ouroboros; the serpent swallowing its own tail. May God have mercy on its soul.
August 15, 2010 at 8:48 am
Excuse me for replying to comments on a post that I specifically asked for comments and feedback about!
I’m only not using curse words so that I remain better than you.
August 15, 2010 at 6:31 am
correct me if I’m wrong
each and everyone here understands that CM has become an important part of M[C]S
yes, we are annoyed by his posts
yes, we think that his posts are mostly silly
yes, we all like to think that we are better than him
BUT, we don’t want him to stop posting!
without him M[C]S will lose a part of it’s individuality… it’s very own brand
do you know me? hell no!
everybody knows CM!
instead of hating him, let’s try to support him instead! after all, he’s been providing us with amusement and discussion topics for such a long time…
you can now throw tomatoes at me
August 15, 2010 at 8:45 am
>he thinks that all the hatred has or will have any effect on me posting here!
I work a lot now, that’s the only reason I can’t post that much.
August 15, 2010 at 8:23 am
You should have done it matte. It looks better primed than painted.
August 15, 2010 at 8:46 am
That’s because this is my FIRST time painting plastic.
I’m going to strip the gas tank down to the plastic again, and then smooth it out and start over.
