Finland. Or Portland. I know Portland is not a country but I don’t care, they both end in land who are you to question their friendship.

Maine?
July 21, 2010 at 2:31 pm
Maybe, maybe. If it’s in America then definitely Northern America, either that or Northern Europe. I think I know this because of the semi pond that appears to have been a river, the trees and what looks like mountains in the back. Because of the maybe Mountains we can narrow it down to either somewhere around Oregon/ Washington or as you suggested Maine. If it’s not in Northern America or Europe well then I’ll look real stupid. It’ll be still gorgeous though so it’s ok.

Hmmm. I’ve seen bridges like this in New Hampshire.
July 21, 2010 at 2:57 pm
Yeah the bridge is an important hint… unfortunately I don’t know anything about bridges so I can’t comment on it.

According to my calculations from the shadows and the inclination of the sun…I haven’t a fucking clue.

It could be almost anywhere along the East coast of the US (except maybe Florida), or any of the Mid-Atlantic states. Also nearly anywhere in Northern Europe and the British Isles. I’ve seen pre-Civil War bridges using that kind of stone and technique, around where I live.
July 22, 2010 at 12:39 am
Is it near your house?
July 22, 2010 at 1:30 am
Scotland is close enough! It’s in Ireland. Thanks guys for the nice comments. It’s from the 13th century if anyone is interested. I like old bridges:)
July 22, 2010 at 3:09 am
Looks like a nice place. What’s the general vicinity/closest town?
July 22, 2010 at 8:10 am
It’s along the ramparts walk between Navan and Hayestown on the river Boyne. It is a lovely place to spend the day relaxin, once it’s not raining that is!!
July 22, 2010 at 5:12 am
Liar. I live in Ireland and have never seen that bridge!
July 22, 2010 at 8:13 am
Youre missin out colonel, you’d wanna come to Navan and then quickly get out of the town again to enjoy it!!! What county are you dwelling in then?
July 22, 2010 at 9:12 am
havent spent much time in Navan, certainly not looking at bridges anyway. I dwell in Donegal now, originally Leitrim.
July 22, 2010 at 10:29 am
Ah Lovely Leitrim. Great County to drive around. Some real beauty spots there. Never been to Donegal. Is it true that you guys have the best beaches in the country?
July 22, 2010 at 11:30 am
Yeah, Leitrim is great to drive AROUND. God forbid anyone would go through it!
Moved up here a couple of years ago. the beaches are great. Bundoran is meant to be the best for surfing in Europe. Which end of “the rain-forest” are you in?
July 25, 2010 at 4:47 am
I’d be close enought to Navan at the mo, and “the rain forest” needs more trees!!
July 22, 2010 at 1:37 am
