I’m not big on filesharing, for the most part. But the e book system is really screwed up right now. If I buy a book, I’d like to be able to loan it to a friend without loaning my whole library and means of reading it out (kindle, nook, etc). I’d also like the option of selling it to a used book store to make room for new books. Since I don’t have those options, my e book shouldn’t cost as much as a brand new hard cover copy of the physical book.

Also, the RIAA response to filesharing has been as batshit crazy as the above comic suggests. Now they are after creative commons licensing since it supposedly threatens the copyright system as a whole.
