Well I tried to adapt our laws for our American friends but I don’t think it translated well. The Irish original is:

Step 1: do what we tell you
Step 2: or else we take your potatoes!

There are three states of legality in Irish law.

There’s most stuff which comes under “that’s grand”
Which moves into “Ah now, don’t push it”
Finally into “Right! now you’re taking the piss!”

I want to print this off to explain to this prune of a man why the fucked up government is not caused by one man.

President (insert disliked name here) cannot solely cause undesirable law to pass. It takes 536 people at the same time to fuck it up. I thought Bush Jr. was Cheyne and Rumsfield’s sock puppet. He thinks Obama is committing acts of socialist treason.

None of your least favorite Presidents could do or not do what they have done without the approval of 535 additional people
