Did you really need a forum post and a main page post for this?

Casemods you are a horrible human being.

I’ve got an old Minolta camera sitting around that I used for photography class in high school. Maybe I’ll dig it up and post pictures for everyone to see!
June 4, 2010 at 7:21 pm
Dude, I totally talked about my Minolta in reply to his Canon on the forums.
Why does it seem like I’m talking about genitals.

I’ll post pictures of my old Polaroid Spectra camera. I took some great pictures with that back in the day!
June 4, 2010 at 7:38 pm
I’d love to see that.

In college my manual camera was a Pentax P3N.
Can’t the lenses also be used on a DSLR Canon?
And don’t knock darkrooms; much fun to be had in them!

I always forget to check the forums. Sadly, I am not very active in them.

Nah that’s not what I meant. I was just impressed with the coincidental state of things and stuff. Like yeah.

Did your dad give you an obsolete POS like mine did under the premise that “it’s old, so it’s an antique!”?
June 4, 2010 at 10:20 pm
No, I see this going for $300 on craigslist with only 3 lenses.
I’m gonna try to turn around and get the cheapest DSLR I can find with the money I get.
June 4, 2010 at 7:27 pm
because the camera was what was wrong with all your previous pictures?

Nice camera
I bet you can really grab some of the subtle nuances of your pale flesh, in cheap women’s clothing, as you take pictures of yourself in public bathrooms you waste of hair you.
June 4, 2010 at 7:52 pm
Actually, that “old POS” is a really freaking good camera for someone who wants to learn real photography.
Yes, having the computer do it all for you is much easier, but learning the basic, mastering them, and then having fun with all opportunities is a big win.
Can’t say jack good about film though. I have no love lost on sitting in a dark room spending an hour doing what takes 2-min in Photoshop.
June 4, 2010 at 8:22 pm
Realistically speaking, yeah, Photoshop is awesome and if you need to get something done it’s great, but I really REALLY enjoyed working in the darkroom. There is just something deeply satisfying about teasing a great picture out of a negative.
Also, the AE-1 is an awesome camera.

I worked in a dark room in high school.
Smelled like cat piss.
Also, I don’t use photoshop, I use gimp.
I don’t need any fancy stuff, just the added ability to manually focus the camera on what I actually want to see.
Point and shoot cameras seem to not be able to do this…

I have this camera! its the shit! I wish i had all that extra stuff..

Good camera. I have two Canon A-1 cameras myself.

Yes, but is it shielded from electromagnetic interference? You know, for like photographing… Aliens… and stuff?
June 7, 2010 at 8:49 am
At least there’s no date stamp on 35mm.
