what the fuck? I fixed this the night that they originally notified me about this. Anyone have any idea what the hell is going on? I’ve checked the url they previously sent out, and it’s not serving anything google related.

I don’t know tiki… I checked NSFW, clicked to get the full image page, even did it on MCS+, I didn’t see any ads served by google. 🙁

I have no clue. what makes it worse is there is literally no way to have a conversation with them about this, cause I’m more than happy to fix anything that’s not working right, but they just don’t communicate very well what they’re not happy with.

adblock does an amazing job… i was unaware that MCS even used AdSense at all…
my impression is that you should scrap it. it’s obviously not doing what you wanted anyway, and that way you won’t have to discover what piddly little discrepancy they got their panties in a twist about.
Took people a while to understand that it wasn’t Tiki who was so prude but that it was Google who was riding him, so I think it’s only a little step further for people to grasp that Google isn’t prude either, it’s the advertisers who don’t wanne see their products next to nsfw-materiel.

I frequent another site which is very similar to mcs and the exact same thing happened there too…they had even gone so far as to create a second site for the adult content and googly pulled the plug anyway…
What are the expenses involved in running the site? I thought all the images were stored on dropbox so is it just for the wordpress site?

wow really? I guess MCS has an insane amount of traffic. I can’t believe that ad-sense is producing that much of an income, so I would assume that you’re paying for this as it is, makes sense now that it would be a bit too much to handle alone without Google. Hope this gets cleared up, I grew quite fond of MCS in the last 2 years 🙂
