As a lifelong atheist, I’d feel more inclined to feel respect for self-proclaimed “critical thinkers” decrying the irrationality of religion if they were capable of even the slightest bit of self-awareness necessary to realize that their own views on politics, entertainment, sexuality, reproductive rights, etc., are every bit as irrational, uncritical, and unscientific as any garbage scientology has come up with.

Human beings aren’t rational and they never will be. We know that. Get over it. And constantly pointing out the obvious doesn’t make you (or I) rational by default.
