Wow. I need more sleep. “working my *way* through a second playthrough.”

Wow. I need more sleep. I didn’t even notice the “way” was missing.

The game was exceptional. I found myself guessing right until near the end, and I’m usually pretty good at figuring out the story before the big reveal. Honestly, it was more like a movie then a video game. I highly recommend playing it at the difficulty that tests your reaction speed and accuracy the most. So the story doesn’t always go the way you want it too.
The game was cinematic. I feel it’s better described as an interactive, and truly gripping, movie then a game.

This and GT5 make me pissed off – I want a cheap ass xbox (im a pc gamer 99%) not a $350 Ps3 but GT5 is worth abot $150 to me (since I’ll play it from a 2nd hand $2000 honda right to the end) – but the price diff.. erg… hard choice.
Its mainly because im happy to spend $1500 on a PC but I’d only use a console 10% of the time, I even have one of those western digital media players so I wont use them for that either.
Blue rays *meh* dont care really, 720p rips will do me.
*realises he just had a conversation with himself…*

I played it, enjoyed it. One of the parts that really caught me was at the beginning – you are a father interacting with your children. Now I enjoy shooters, where your blowing up zombies/aliens with rocket launchers/BFG’s and giblets fly everywhere – and horror games, with those creepy creatures and disturbing imageries from Silent Hill – yet this surprised me how emotionally involved (and honestly creeped out) I got cause I was like HOLY CRAP I’M A DAD I’M NOT READY TO BE A FATHER THERE ARE THESE TWO CHILDREN LOOKING UP TO ME THEY ARE RELATED TO ME I AM INTERACTING WITH THEM WHAT DO I DO WHAT IF I MESS UP?! It was an uncanny-valley kind of reaction, not so much a reaction to the visual quality of the characters (although that’s certainly good too), but a reaction to the seeming reality of being an adult with a responsibility for children. The game company did a good job of making everything look and feel realistic.

I hate exclusivity. This and Unchartered make me feel the need for a PS3!.
