    I’ve got a book I did this to a couple of years ago. You can find some cool-looking older books for cheap at thrift stores and the like.

    takes a long time but I did this as a time-killer a few months ago. I use the hollowed book for more stuff than I thought I would.

    I think so that when everything is glued at the end you can close the book and weight it without the spacers?
