Still a Lost fan; anxiety reaching critical mass that the finale will be one huge clusterfuck. ^This episode helped only slightly.

Me too. In spite of the lack of plot, Lost still somehow manages to draw my interest. I’m also hoping that the finale will not be a large scale representative of the series as a whole…

Actually, it can be explained by existence of very little gnomes, that are sitting on magnets. They are catching other gnome’s hands or pushing them away.
Very simple and accurate theory.
