“but its very clicky”
Remotes don’t click at all. What are you talking about?

My hubby NEEDS this

You remotely control something because you are separate from it, hence it is a remote control.

It remotely controls a television, you stupid spider-loving limey.

And they use soft rubber/plastic buttons, there is no clicking sound.

Remotes USED to make a clicking sound, and this is where the term “clicker” comes from. But as this is no longer accurate, the term no longer applies.

I never had a remote control that clicked, so this argument has to be outdated by at LEAST 16 years.

i rarely hear it click
but with it, i can CONTROL the tv from a more REMOTE location.

the reason they call them clickers is the ancient crt tv’s with the dial to change the channel made a clicking noise when you turned it. this “remote controller” was a device to “click” the knob over so your ass could sink farther into the couch.

Also clicker is a U.S. only term. I have never heard it used in the U.K. apart from on U.S. sitcoms.

I’m in the US and I think you fuckers calling it a clicker are crazy.
