some people would say that life on earth could not exist with fewer/more stars or if they were closer/farther from us. some would even go so far as to say that the cosmos, in all its immensity, exists to support life here on earth. your brain is moar complex than anything mankind has discovered, and rather than make me feel insignificant, this actually makes my cock very hard, knowing that i am awesome enough to warrant the creation of a universe to accommodate my needs.

I remember sometime around then, these astronomers tried to calculate the diameter of the universe. They came out with a number of 10^10^12. When asked what units (miles, meters, light years), they said, “who cares what units? The measurement error in a number that big makes the difference between an angstrom and a light year statistically insignificant!” Ah, good times!
