Killing off couple of main characters, especially Wash, is exactly what made the movie great. Normally, there’s little dramatic tension to a series because you know all of the main characters will survive unscathed. After Wash got impaled out of nowhere, you spent the next 20 minutes seriously wondering if anyone would get out alive. That’s what makes a good story. Sorry if fan-boys can’t handle it.

I wish more stories were written that way. I kinda hoped LOST would’ve done more of this. I guess as the finally nears, more ppl will end up getting smoked.
