I do not like to be an awful person, but if this is the sort of fish I think it is, a nashikigoi or koi, then I do not suggest it to be kept in an aquarium unless that aquarium is humongous. These dudes can get 2-3 feet or larger.

Well whatever kinda of fish it is it’s not a koi. That picture is about 3 years old and when I went home for Christmas he was still alive and not 2-3 feet long.
