How I attached a bucket 4 point harness racing seat to a desk chair base

how to chair 700x525 How I attached a bucket 4 point harness racing seat to a desk chair base

Simple, really.

I just used an aluminum base from a spool of coaxial cable and drilled 8 holes.

As you can see, you just use the plate as a “translator” or “adapter” for the bolt patterns, making it simply possible.

I didn’t really like the fact that other people would take my idea, but I figured it would be better for other people to benefit from my creations and ideas.

If anyone makes any money from my idea, I would appreciate some of it’s earnings as a thank you.

  3. Meh, I just made a base for the seat out of a crown victoria.. Doesn’t have the springy bit but it rolls and is comfy. Yeah, I know redneck as hell but it works. Going to finish turning it into my race chair as soon as I get the steel for that.
