Chappelle – yes, but needs to return from vacation
Murphy – yes, but needs to do another “RAW”-type show to get his edge back
Attell – doesn’t really do it for me, but perhaps I haven’t seen enough of him
Hedberg – yes, and is sorely missed
Tosh – never seen his stand-up, only his show. Has some potential, but currently more annoying than funny.
Missing: Demetri Martin, Mike Birbiglia, Eddie Izzard, Lynne Koplitz (look her up), Ron White and Steven Colbert

1) Really miss Dave Chapell and his show.
2) I can leave or take Eddy Murphy. Depends on the roll.
3) Love Dave Atell. Just saw him live a few months ago, actually.
4) Hadn’t heard of Mitch Hedberg till today, but watched a bit of his stand up on YouTube. Seems pretty darn funny. R.I.P.
5) Daniel Tosh is one of my favorite comedians. I never miss an episode of Tosh.0

Dave Chapell was okay. its good that he got out of his show before it stopped being funny.
Eddie Murphy is a funny mother fucker. Raw and Delirious are classics. i think he may be a bit too good to be on this list. its like ranking a major league legend with a bunch of really good minor league hopefuls.
Dave Atell: love his shit. always wrong in just the right way.
Mitch Hedberg was pretty funny. its a damn shame he died before peaking.
Daniel Tosh. meh. his stand up was just okay. the home video show is crapulent. replace him on the list with Aziz Ansari.
where is Patton Ozwalt, Zach Galifianakis, Lewis Black, George Mother Fucking Carlin (too big for this list?)? the list of funny goes on…

Damn i didn’t know Mitch was dead… I only became aware of him about a year back after listening to a couple of his CD’s. He was one real funny guy, i also discovered Doug Stanhope at the same time and found him to be equally ammusing.
