It fired regular bullets. That curved bit would just deteriorate very fast, and I think it would only last for 50 shots? Or something very short lived.

also, they didn’t use it mainly because the curve caused to large a loss in velocity.

It was featured on a Future Weapons episode about corner shot guns used by SWAT/special forces. The current ones use cameras and foldable stocks. They were comparing old tech to new tech. That’s all I remember.
