disc brakes, and id say its an unfinished concept, that or its all internally plumbed. and for cruising down the beach at slow speeds you dont need to make sharp turns.

as for the brakes…it’s probably like the bikes from back in my day where we peddaled to go and peddaled backward to stop

add one speed bump and it’s a teeter totter

the distance between the steering axle and the centre of the front wheel is too long for this to work very well. will be pretty hard to steer through normal turns. good for doing minute adjustments tho i guess, from the rest of the bike, maybe possible to ride it around a track or something well.
also looks like the main “brakes” would be to pedal slower.
we should set up donations for casemods to get this bike.
