Agreed HoChunk. One of the best bands of all time. If you ever get a chance to see them in concert, do so. They’re spectacular and you get a real feel for their talent live.

i’m afraid i must be the dissenter here. i hate STP. mind you, i never got into grunge rock at all. both the music and the vocals leave something to be desired.
inb4 flame wars, raging, questions about my intellect/sexual preference, etc…

I respect your taste in music but STP is still going to hold a place in my heart.
I was younger teenager in the grunge years and man the radio played a lot of shit throughout the 90s. Never bought an STP album but I was sure as hell happy to hear Interstate whatever compared to most of the other stuff playing at the time.
On the other hand they were no Pearl Jam. Or Soundgarden. Or Nirvanna or Black Crowes or Blind Melon or even Bush really.
Just got their best of a while back. Can’t say I regret it.

I won’t flame or make comments on sexual preference (god knows Scott Weiland likes to walk the edge). I will say that you should do some googling for Scott’s rendition of Christmas Time is here, or Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas. I think it shows some incredible vocals and performing skills. His solo albums are spectacular as well.

Scott Weiland went to the same high school that I did.
