Why the fuck is there anywhere that doesn’t use the metric system yet? Feet, inches and yards seem so medieval England.

I don’t know why we didn’t start out that way, but now that we have used the English system for so long, it’s hard to switch exactly because of this; it’s not necessarily the conversions that get in the way, but tying the metric values to reference points.
