fox, that final kick was good enough that a few more yards wouldn’t have made a difference. Crappy calls in OT to be sure, but the result would have still been the same.
My friends & I all called that last pick that Favre threw before it happened, the one where he ran out & threw across his chest. I think plays like that may have been more of a problem for the Vikes than the officials.

I just can’t believe that the Saints are a good team. Back when I lived in New Orleans (1997-1999), we used to call them the New Orleans Tampons because they were only good for one period and they didn’t have a second string.

They’re not. The Saints had a lot of help from Minnesota and the officials. Help they won’t be getting from Indy, though I can’t promise about the zebras.

OT in football is garbage. If they insist on it being sudden death than make it at least 7 points to win the game. That way even a touch down isn’t a guaranteed win (could miss the extra point)
But this crap where they can kick a field goal with plenty of time left and win is just…well, crap.

you know, just a couple of seasons ago Brees led the Saints to an NFC championship game. these were the two best teams during the regular season, and both teams have a shot to win this. the saints may very well come out on top this year.
