    Clearly fake. The second picture shows Europe, and everyone knows that spaceships only ever go above the Ussah.

    Chris Foss is probably more well known in the English speaking world than the U.S. ;-)

    His art adorned the covers of many S.F. works in the UK and Aust/NZ in the ’70′s and ’80′s

    He also did the interior illustrations for Alex Comfort’s
    “The Joy of Sex”

    A bunch of his works are in the old “Terran Trade Authority” art books that got so popular in the years after STAR WARS was released.
