OK I don’t follow news much – I just realized that this wasn’t some small local quake – there’s devastation throughout the capital. Its a horrible situation. I apologize for my insensitive comment.

I’m certain that was one of the most sturdily constructed buildings in Haiti, being a presidential palace and all. Imagine what the tenement housing must look like now.
