That thing is also a time machine am I right. Pretty impressive. Yet another gem for my vintage folder.

Is his head propped up or held still?

That’s a brace they used to use to hold your head still since the exposures took so long to make.
Otherwise your face would be just a smudge from not being able to keep still.
