I was surprised that I liked this series so much. too bad it only lasted 2 seasons
maybe it’ll come back in 20 years like star trek, right?

it had a very good idea but shitty writing. B- for effort and D for writing.

I really liked this show too.

The reason it got canceled is because they got Jewel Staite to be in an episode. She’s the kiss of death for tv shows.
Space Cases
Firefly
Dead Like Me
Stargate Atlantis (this one lasted the longest but she wasn’t on it until season 4 or 5, I forget which.)

oh wow, I had no clue that was her, good catch.

I’m no tv expert, but judging by the picture, I think it was canceled due to an overabundance of less that stellar looking ladies

The “Life after Death” direct-to-video movie might have resurrected the series if it had been released sooner. If you liked this, look into Wonderfalls.

Also if it hadn’t reset Daisy’s character, replaced the actress, got rid of Rube, changed the formula, and just sucked ass.
Loved the series. Hated the film.

I agree. the daisy character thing was what really killed me, I mean they wrote out Rube already, why not write out daisy too? I knew that actress that originally did Daisy from her time on Defying Gravity, which ironically was why she couldn’t shoot the DLM movie.
I started watchign dead like me a month or so ago and when she came in, i was like, waaaait a minute, I know that girl from somewhere. Other than her looks though, the two characters were completely different, so she’s got some acting chops.

I loved this series!! And I agree about Daisy. The movie was alright, but Rube being gone was so weird.

Doesn’t look like it will come back Tiki, but a lot of the basic ideas are cribbed from other material (ranging from the movie Ghost to various Role Playing Games, to Twilight Zone episodes. I’m sure, just as all ideas are constantly reinvisioned, you’ll see something like this rise again. Won’t be the exact same thing, but apparently the exact same thing is something of a flawed gem.
