ROOOOOOOARRR!!!! splash splash
OG Power Rangers if fucking awesome. I enjoyed everything before Zeo. When the Shogun zords and the Ninja zords showed up, I started to falter in my opinion, but Zeo fucking killed it altogether.
I still look at the new zords from time to time, but nothing beats the original Dinozords, expecially with MOTHER FUCKING TITANUS followed closely by the Thunderzords.
OH SHIT Power Rangers wiki FTW

Cheap Voltron rip off is what they all are!

Not exactly. The first Super Sentai started in 1975. Beast King GoLion did not start until March 1981. I believe the Sentai series Taiyou Sentai Sun Vulcan was the first Sentai series to have a combining robot, and started in February 1981. There’s really no point in comparing the two series, however, as giant robots is where their similarities begin and end.

What six said. Voltron was repackaged anime (well japanimation back then). Just like transformers, power rangers, and a host of others. Me, I’m from the generation that watched English dubbed Mazinger. But I realize that none of them are inherently cooler than the others.

Brazil 1988 Super Sentai: Spectreman, Jaspion, Changeman, followed by
Flashman, Cybercops, Giban & Jiraya. And then the shit came: Power Rangers and innumerous US rip-offs from the original japanese…
