by amazing coincidence i read the article that quote is taken from today. carl sagan had many personal qualities- this article, and the later cosmos episodes tell me bravery was definetly one of them.

Is this Carl Sagan day? I’ve been seeing him all over the web in the last 8 hours. Not that it’s a bad thing. The man is awesome.
The problem is that there is less profit to be made in a happy peaceful world. People need to feel insecure or they won’t be efficient consumers. People also need to feel angry or they won’t support the wars that fuel industry.
Every day is Carl Sagan day.
And then fill it with pot.
Lets drug everybody and will be no wars! Well.. maybe for the control of the drugs, but it’s just a detail…
