It was called the Buran, It could kick the shuttle’s ass. It used 4 external solid boosters versus our 2. It also had larger main engines and could lift heavier payloads.

Unfortunately, after the collapse, it was parted out like an old car…

Because they have 19th century mindset, so their hardware has a steam-punk look to it. Their equipment may look cool, but they normally suck.
