    Usually I claim not to get it. I don’t recall ever saying something is stupid unless I do believe it is in fact stupid.

    I would agree with this if it wasn’t for the last sentence. Not getting something doesn’t always make someone stupid. Of course something that people don’t get isn’t always intelligent either.
