The work is by Al Columbia, a brilliant cartoonist last published in the nineties, now reemerging with a brand new hardcover Pim and Francie book from Fantagraphics. It’s the book of the year, easily.
His humor and sensibilities are very dark and peculiar. He’s not for everyone, but I love his stuff.
