I absolutely adore it. I have a thing for raw and naked photos like this of places with many buildings or people. The big poster on the right is what makes this special though. So where is it and did you take the photo yourself?
I also don’t understand what the two guys above are talking about, so maybe I should already know where this is.

Just some ugly concrete jungle, nothing special.

Oh yeah Dreth, because there are so many things that you find special. You don’t even have a scale for it, so pack your bags and get out of town.

I used to find you special until you decided to worship every single thing you see in a trash can excluding me, just because I’m at the very bottom with that oozing acidic liquid that drips off the can’s crack and is eventually brushed against a cockroach’s leg.

That’s an amazing metaphor you used there at the end, Dreth. I don’t know what you think I’m worshipping, I just happen to like a lot of things. Anything that can be reduced to mathematics is in my book of goodness. Comprende? I’ll go curl up on the couch and be miserable now, thank you very much.

From the window of an apartment you look out. You see a town as innocent as a politician’s smile. In the gutters drips the life blood of young dreams, cruelly smashed against the cold pavement of reality. But even under the cold gray skies there are unseen people out there fighting to make something beautiful that might outlast the chill winds that blow through the concrete canyons that define the city.

Thanks DiaA; Melbourne, Australia. An unusual angle to see the city from. Just a coincidence of a hotel room I was in once. So, yes, took it myself. I like it, but notice only about 50% of people do, so I’m really not sure if it’s worth printing / trying to exhibit. I just love that it shows the old city, in the foreground, the banking / finance heart of it, and the modern 100 floor tall tower in the background. And the cat is a great example of street art in Melbourne. Encompasses lots of things I love about the city.

That’s a really interesting perspective of Melbourne, I didn’t even realise until I saw Eureka Tower.
Anyone here at Uni of Melb by any chance?
