On the Columbia River and part of the Columbia/Snake River dam system…I believe.

They do an awesome laser show on the side of the dam about its history … now if we can only convince them to start doing Laser Floyd …

Well, the world has seven wonders that the trav’lers always tell,
Some gardens and some towers, I guess you know them well,
But now the greatest wonder is in Uncle Sam’s fair lang,
It’s the big Columbia River and the big Grand Coulee Dam.

yes, on the Columbia… um, lake chain? LOL the Columbia River has been a series of lakes for a damned long time now. pun intended.
the dam is enormous. i was up on a view point hill to take the photo.
