Who in their right mind puts peas in an omelet?
October 7, 2009 at 12:23 pm
But they were CHEESE PEAS!!
And the only fiber he’s likely to get all day.

Looks tasty. I haven’t made an omelet before, so would you have some instructions as to not charring it?
October 7, 2009 at 8:22 am
*as to not turning it into a pile of charcoal.

Pretty sure after the 6th egg and fk ton of add-ins, this became more of a quiche. Then again, I refuse to call Chicago meatpie a ‘pizza’ either.
Enjoy your 5000 calorie breakfast.

Given the last picture I assumed it was meant for four people.

I had my first omelet about 4 years ago and now I love them. It’s generally dinner once a week. My favorite is fresh eggs (we get them from a farm), spicy sausage, cheddar cheese, and that’s it. Simple but yummy; also hubby almost never breaks them.

October 7, 2009 at 1:09 pm
And then you died, right?
It’s a good death.

No crust so not a quiche (that seems to be the requirement out here.) but ya, peas??? No thanks. Bell peppers or better yet, green chile.
Oh, I do miss a proper chicago meat pie, but did prefer the classic pepperoni, sausage, onions and bellpeppers. New York pizza was very close second greatest pizza in the world, but I hated that city, which may have affected its standings in my book.

Looks great! Can you post the entire recipe here for the people to see? Thanks.

subtract the peas and add some green peppers and mushrooms you have a total win!!
