This is not necessarily true. There is a genetic component to where fat is deposited on a persons body. Yes, with morbidly obese people there is a greater likelihood of excessive facial fat deposits, but it does not always work that way. Some peoples genes simply make them more likely to have a lot of fat deposited in their face than others at the same BMI.
