Picked this up for $30 at frys yesterday. Trying to get it to work in game for CS:S or for that matter, anything on the computer.

why would you use a 1 ear headset in CS, the whole reason of wearing a headset while playing CS is to hear the direction of gunfire and footsteps.

Ah I did not initially see that it was in fact casemods post, thus I shall repent for my miscalculation in supposing that the poster might have somewhat of a brain.

I know it’s been said, but wait a couple years after something comes out.

I’m waiting till ps3 is $150 and I told myself several years ago I will get a gaming computer in 2010, and low and behold, dual core towers with 3 gigs of ram and 500gig hard drives are only $300.

How much did you pay exactly?

I can guess it was around $120? The local verizon store has various colors of the jawbone 3 for $130 each.

Those are probably the only headset worth getting, but I’m not paying half my check for one. I’ll just wait till they drop DRAMATICALLY in price or till jawbone 4 comes out.

no, i paid about $80. it was the only goddamn headset that they had and i was soooo excited to get a bluetooth.. thing, because i’d just bought a phone that supported it finally, and the son of a bitch talked me into it. that store is looong since closed. i hope that dude invested his life savings and is homeless now or something. but it was probably just a money laundering front.

using only for mic?
id get a cheap koss/sennheiser headphones with mic thing. more comfy, better.
my steelseries one stopped working after about 2 years so steering clear of that brand. and while im at defaming brands, the razer mamba occasionally skips. my first one was so bad i had to return it – now it only skips once every 24 hours of gaming or so – so thats ok tbh. except its so pricy it should never skip and make me accurate sandwiches.
