Myself (Commissar), my brother, and my best friend went to Comic-Con as Death Korps. We ended up with a bunch of other 40k pre-enactors, and were generally awesome all over the place.

DAMN I wish I had seen everyone in these pictures especially the battle sister. Always had a soft spot for them even though I never actually played the game, just wanked to the thought of playing the game. (I have played the first PC game)

A soft spot? The emperor of man is disappointed in your lack of zeal.

Haha. Dude, this isn’t sissy cosplay, these uniforms are all sorts of badassery. I’d be happy to be stuck in a trench wearing it.
Beside, we all know the God Emperor is coming, right? =D

I’d already seen it over at Relicnews, but that Sisters costume is still pure epic. One thing I’ve wondered – who’s the girl in the white-and-gold outfit with the green flag meant to be? At one point I thought Sabbat, but maybe not…

You’re right on, it is Saint Sabbat. Check it out:

Is it mandatory for all Commissars to have kick-ass muttonchops? because I can’t think of any artwork with a commissar where he didn’t have such awesome facial hair.
…Oh, wait, i don’t think Yarrick did.
Anyway, awesome work all around, especially with your muttonchops.
