Nevada is a wasteland unfit for human habitation with no real economy. Now that Indian casinos are popping up all over the country, it will slowing dwindle into full on Mad Max-land.

They still got legal prostitution.
Also, don’t underestimate the fear middle Americans have of Native Americans (no, seriously) and their desire to go to an “adult Disneyland.”

Prostitution is not legal in counties with a population of over 400,000, which rules out Reno and Las Vegas. I used to say that Nevada needed to fully legalize weed and decriminalize other drugs in order to stay relevant. But it looks like California is going to beat them to the punch.

Really? California?
I used to think California was the ‘out there, wild’ state, but after the 3 strikes law and banning gay marriage, not to mention being beaten to the punch, I’d say a state like Maine or even a surprise upset by Alaska (another of the 6 states where it is decriminalized) would come before California.

We love our weed in California and in my area, could care less about gay people getting married. Unfortunately inner California is very Conservative and get butt hurt when people of different sexual orientation want to get married. Weed being legalized here definitely seems to be getting closer and closer. Especially since our State government doesn’t know how to handle an economy. So weed may be an option.
