why would people hate Favre? He was in “There’s Something About Mary.”
He also plays football for a living. That is hardly a reason for mockery.

I hate him simply cuz his name is spelled “Favre” but he pronounces it “Farve”.

He looked like complete shit during his public signing with the vikings. Fucking eh man, you’re a leader, at least look the part.
I hope someone like Justin Tuck cleans his clock this season.

Raise your kids, play some Golf, be a commentator, just stop playing.

Packers shouldn’t have let him go, someone like that you keep until time to bury them. That Rogers brat was all “Promote me or I’m leaving” instead actually being a team player. I pray he gets his knee snapped backwards so I can laugh and laugh.
Now I have to support the Vikings, which sucks, I was still pissed at them for hiring Moss all those years back. Oh well. Kudos though tot hem for great psychological warfare, you can just hear the souls of Packers fans dying when Brett signed the papers.

I must admit it is kind of strange that I’m gonna be cheering for this guy now.

As a Bears fan, I like the idea of two chances for my team to end his career with an injury.

As a HUGE, life-long Packer fan from Wisconsin, I was dissapointed to see Favre go to the Jets last season but I was ok with it. I was then glad to hear, a few weeks ago, that he decided to retire. Now, that he has signed with the Viqueens, I am torn. I like Favre. I LOVE what he did for the Packers back “in the day”. I have always enjoyed his style of play.
Honestly, I am excited to watch him play again and, unfortunately, I will only be slightly upset if he were to beat the Packers this season but he should have never come back out of retirement.
