    When were these taken? I looked on google maps and it looks back to normal. I don’t know how old the current google image is.

    Seems the Russians needed to be able to grow food, so they diverted the two rivers that feed this lake.

    Whats is more important to you? Food? or having a big salt water lake?

    Of course they were kind of dumb about it.
