In some ways, I’d say most families do. The problem is that they may not learn the language that allows them to communicate it properly to another individual. If someone is calling multiplication “zogoobogeyderpeederpcarrotstapler,” it could be hard for him to understand that when someone else says multiplication they mean the same thing.
