  1. Going to be a trippy scary good time.

  2. Looks to me like it’s trying to hard to be weird.

    • Just like 99% of all “re-imaginings”. Leave the original alone and get your own ideas.

      • Which original? There must be at least 20 movies based on the book. Or do you think no movie should be made because the ‘original’ is a book? You’re on a site that generally re-posts pics found elsewhere and say “Leave the original alone and get your own ideas.”. The good stuff (and the not-so-good stuff) gets re-imagined all the time. Perhaps West Side Story should never have been made.

    • I was about too post the same thing, verbatim. Trying too hard.

  3. Really? I thought these pics more closely resembled the images I had in my mind when reading the books.

  4. Tim Burton is the perfect choice for Alice in Wonderland.

  5. What pill was it again ? The one that DOESN’T show me how deep the rabbithole goes

  6. There are so many better choices to have shot this.
Mr Burton and his German expressionist derivative style is about as edgy as anything else from the 80′s.

Johnen Vasquez should have shot this thing.

    pics are pure yawn.

  7. Allow me to say it again: this movie represents what is wrong with Tim Burton today. I love his early works, but now he is just desperately trying to bring his dumb ideas to life.

    Corpse Bride: dog shit
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory: watchable
    Planet of the Apes: shit
    Sweeny Todd: okay

The guy has lost his touch… and this movie, this shitfest of terrible design, is a good example of why tim burton should not do this shit. he’s a hit or miss director with decent ideas, who can’t be consistent.
