finn sniper simo hayha 500x485 Simo Häyhä

Killed more than 500 Russians with a sniper (He preferred to use iron sights rather than telescopic sights), 200 more with a submachine gun, they called him The White Death. Got shot in the face, killed the guy that did it, and lived a 60 more years. Died April 1 2002.

    Even more sweet is that his sniper rifle was a Finnish M/28, a variant of the Russian Mosin-Nagant rifle. A little sweet irony.

    He was bad ass… I still don’t think that is photo. There is no way something so bad ass can be photographed. Its kind of like Big Foot or a Cupacabra.
