In Germany, the first group of letters designates which area of the country that the car is registered. Ex. F = Frankfurt, M = Munich, B = Berlin, TR = Trier.

Bavaria is pretty sweet. Lots and lots of great beer. I am in Bamberg and there are 9 breweries just in the city. In the surrounding area I think there are around 250ish.
