About peanut butter, it’s very expensive around here. Never had the money to buy the stuff.
Haha I have never even seen any peanut butter at any store. Granted I never looked too hard either. Do they keep it in the fridge or something I have no idea.
I saw it on shelves and it’s only in hypermarkets.
It is sometimes refrigerated if its “natural” meaning that the oil separates from the “butter.” Its also usually tastier this way.
But mostly its on the shelf. Something I bet you can find that is similar is sesame tahini.
Trust me, about all peanut butter in Europe tastes like shoe. You’re better off not tasting it, as it will leave you a bad (& false) impression.
I say we take up a collection to send much needed supplies of Adams 100% Natural peanut butter to our poor, deprived European friends. I would say that we should send Reese’s butter cups, but they would laugh at what passes for chocolate. Searched for prices and it’s 350 grams ( about3/4 pounds) for less then 3 euro and more than 3 dollars. So the price went down 3 times. Still not going to buy it.
Maybe when I run out of ideas of what to eat, or when I have the munchies.
