This concept appeals to those who are easily impressed or haven’t seen enough films. In Umberto Eco’s 1985 novel, Foucault’s Pendulum, he devotes several pages to how easy it is to make number combinations seem meaningful or consequential. You can do the same thing with any number; it’s a matter of having at least a pea-sized amount of imagination.
