Fuck you, you fucking fuck

NSFW Content

Should it be as a normal post on the front page?  or should it be linked to from the sidebar?  or not shown on the front page at all, and only listed on the nsfw.myconfinedspace.com subdomain?

[edited to say: the reason I bring this up, is that I was getting a little frustrated with 2 or 3 back to back posts that were not much more then just a link to another page.  seems like I'm pageview whoring.]

  6. I think the way it is now is good. Fark has a sister site called foobies.com where they’ve moved all of their {x:X | XX | XXX}. I’m sure Drew doesn’t get as much revenue on that site (not like he needs it) but it’s out of site, out of mind for most non-Farkers.

  7. If nothing else, I think that if you’re going to relocate the NSFW content from the main page, you should at least do something about it posting to the RSS feed.

  8. Yeah leave it the same, although i hate all the ads on the NSFW, they are just so blatant with boobs in your face, asses in the air, and wanting you to try the old Virtual Valerie type game…

  9. I say leave it as it is, this works and most of us are now used to it. If you are looking to change something I liked being able to see comments listed on the main page instead of having to click thru.

  12. Here is my take on it… I work on web content filtering software for work. Currently MCF isn’t being blocked for NSFW material don’t ask me why but maybe its because it doesn’t get that many reviews from people. The advantage of adding a NSFW sub-domain would be that Web Content Filters at peoples work could filter NSFW.myconfinedspace.com and let the www.myconfinedspace.com stay open to people at work. Treating it just as a blog site. I love the site and have been subscribing to the RSS for a while now I would rather have MCF watered down instead of no MCF at all.

  14. Can’t think of a better setup (for all concerned parties) than what you have now; keep as is.

  15. i liek the ways it is now. the only gripe i has is that “NSFW” is a little ambiguous when it is used in this sector of the intertoobs, because sometimes i click over and i can’t figure out why it is NSFW, but then i’ll see a nipple on the main site.

however, i am ok with it

  17. I would prefer that all the NSFW content only appear on nsfw.myconfinedspace.com, but it would also be fine for it to not be inlined into the RSS feed. (I normally read MCS through an RSS reader and click through to rate images and comment. Having NSFW content show up as a hyperlinked “NSFW” would be fine.)

  19. I think its good the way it is, however, I think there should be a feature like the rating where we can give feedback as to whether it is actually NSFW.

Also, I think there should be some kind of system more reliable than tags to tell if this is a porn kind of NSFW, a controversial kind of NSFW, or if its bizarre and something you cant unseen. I have almost gone blind many times at this point when I thought I was going to get eye candy.

  20. At first, I thought I would like that NSFW posts opening in their own NSFW sidebar was okay, but it was kind of annoying.

The posts as they used to be, in the main feed, clearly stated NSFW. What’s the problem? Ya don’t want to see it, don’t open it!

Any way to keep the non-NSFW ads from running on NSFW pages to keep the companies advertising happy and return NSFW to the original page feed?
