I once found a page that went though the ‘evolution’ of the console controller. It left a few things out, but over all, it was very interesting.

PC is not a console because it is above them. In capabilities, versatility, high end graphics, computational power, and precision of control (mouse+keyboard). Its just a different class. Ever notice how a PC game ported to a console can make a good console game, but a console game ported to a PC is always sub-par compared to almost all other PC games? Yeah, there’s reasons for that…

After using the original Xbox controller for years, the PS controller is just too small and light for me, and flimsy-feeling.
I mean, I’m sure it’s a grand controller, but I simply cannot use it.
