Also: Is this a Glock or a similar partially-plastic weapon? I thought metals showed up as solid/opaque on x-rays (which, if it’s all-metal, would make this one hell of a powerful x-ray)
um, no? afaik, only lead is x-ray blocking. most everything else is x-ray passable, right?

@HoChunk: If you fiddle with the contrast of an x-ray you can see all sorts of things. As an example it’s used it to see inside shipping containers.
@numb7rs: I actually believe they use beta particles or something else for this. (I was lectured at about it by some physicist…forget what he said, but I know it wasn’t x-rays)

Some guns really don’t take well to that. My M9 Beretta does not want to drop the mag when I go to clear it after a mission if I have added another round. Granted; this would not be a problem if I were to empty it; but still…
@sylvanish I believe it may be an SW99, smith and wessons take on the Walther P99. I Have 2 P99’s, one in 9mm and the other .40s&w. The SW99 had a rounded trigger guard, not so much with the P99.
